As a member of the BAUER Group, ROTORCOMP is a family-owned company which has over 60 years of experience in the manufacture of air compressors. 1999ROTORCOMP delivers more than 10.000 screw units per year, and Shanghai Rotorcomp was established in Shanghai;

2000delivery of the first serial booster module MK 80 (up to 40bar, 45kW);

2002start up of our new factory UNICCOMP in the south of Munich for production of low-pressure & medium-pressure screw compressors, compact screw compressors, high pressure piston compressors and various components;

2006formation of the business department of Screw Compressor Technology within the Bauer Group; responsible for marketing & sales, product development and production of screw compressors;

2007expansion of our factory UNICCOMP to increase production capacity for machining operations and rotor production for screw compressors;

2007start up of the new test center for endurance tests of new or modified screw compressors for worldwide approval and continuous monitoring of serial production to ensure highest quality Made in Germany;

2007ROTORCOMP delivers more than 30.000 air ends and compact units per year to the world market and is a leading supplier of oil-injected screw compressors for OEM customers;

2015new type of screw compressor are launched in the global market;

2018delivery of more than 36,000 screw compressor air ends;

2021revolutionary design of new oil-free screw compressor and VSD air compressor, with lower energy consumption at 18-25% compared to old generation of air compressors, providing easy maintenance, safe and stable operation even in extreme working environments;
Shanghai Rotorcomp has been presenting its screw air compressors in the market since its establishment in 1999. In fact, our first foundation goes back to 1985, we was a company engaged in manufacturing piston air compressors until we moved our headquarter to international metropolis – Shanghai in 2000. Since then, we have made commitment to developing screw compressors, pressure vessels, heated desiccant air dryers, refrigerated air dryers and compressed air filters with the support of Germany Rotorcomp Verdichter GmbH.
